I had the privilege of testing some Flux bindings in the spring and my reviews for those are either already published or will be published soon. Put your board back under your control and prepare to kick winters ass with the XV Snowboard Bindings. I feel like all-mountain-freeride is the best place to put this, but note that it’s soft flexing. The Flux XV Snowboard Bindings are a different story constructed with a proprietary carbon nylon blend, they meld power and responsiveness in an ultra lightweight design for maximum precision in consequential terrain. It’s softer than the RII was though, which I like the idea of. ![]() Super Transfer - The backside response is dramatically increased by the height heelcup. Super Tough Nylon - Medium flex material for all rounds from low speed to high speed, from beginner to expert. Supports the flat highback surface from both sides. So it’s not that much like the 2019 DS, but kind of like a hybrid of the 2018 DS and the 2018 RII. Buffalo - It features two pillars that look like buffalo horns. It features the Ultima Wing highback that the 2018 DS had, the Alpha base and Comfort footbed that was on the RII (which doesn’t have a 2019 model) and the new tweaked Honeycomb ver.2.0 strap. Flux DSL – This is a softer flexing version of the DS.Some tweaks to their honeycomb strap (ver.2.0), featured on the DSL, TT & GU.New highback for the DS (Resistor Highback). ![]()
